Discharge deaerator valve
The valve is used at the highest point of the pressure pipeline of the dredger deck to eliminate the possibility of a forming vacuum, If there is a vacuum in the pressure pipeline, it can break the dredging equipment. The valve consists of a T-pipe, a ball, and an exit pipe. When it is in operation, the ball attaches to the scuttle of the exit pipe and prevents air from entering it. In case a vacuum is formed, the ball drops on a grid allowing air to flow into the T-pipe and eliminate the vacuum.
