A bend consists of a metal jacket and an ID rubber liner made of natural or synthetic rubber providing increased abrasion resistance. The metal jacket is manufactured from high-strength steel which guarantees the item from deformation during operation. Long-radius rubber-lined steel bends are used wherever there is need to change the direction of slurry flow gradually in high-wear areas of a pipeline system.
